”Completing my first four modules of the Bright Care Hallmark of Excellence alongside my SVQ 2 in Social Services and Healthcare has been an incredibly positive and rewarding experience. Doing both at the same time has made a real difference to my learning, as the Hallmark modules link directly to my day to day role and reinforce what I am studying for my SVQ. This has helped me gain a much deeper understanding of my work and apply what I am learning confidently in practice, making everything feel relevant, practical, and genuinely useful.

The Hallmark of Excellence has encouraged me to reflect more thoughtfully on my role and has strengthened my understanding of person centred care, dignity, communication, and professional standards. I truly feel I have learned so much more by completing the Hallmark of Excellence alongside my SVQ than I would have by doing either on its own. Throughout the process, there has always been excellent support from Care Managers, who are approachable, encouraging, and always willing to guide and reassure when needed. This combination of high quality training and ongoing support has increased my confidence, developed my skills, and helped me deliver care that truly reflects Bright Care’s values and commitment to excellence every day.
