What emergency support is available to our elderly in-home care clients?

We know that life happens 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and not just between nine and five. That is why we have a fully managed, emergency on-call system in place available for our elderly in-home care clients. It means we will attend to any incident or situation at any time, day or night.

This comprehensive service provides peace of mind and is particularly beneficial for families of our clients who do not live locally.

In-home care services our clients receive:
  • Consistent companionship (reading the newspaper, playing games, taking exercise)
  • Support with outings (grocery food shopping, hospital appointments, walks)
  • Help around the house (laundry, vacuuming, dusting)
  • Home-based activities (cooking, baking, gardening)
  • Support at social events (family gatherings, clubs, religious services)
  • Personal hygiene (assistance with washing and getting dressed)
  • Health and well-being (support with medications and exercise)
  • Personal administration (help with forms, letters, paying bills)

The emergency on-call service was a comfort to me, if I needed help, I knew Bright Care would be there for me. The office staff were just a phone call away and it gave me peace of mind, knowing I wasn’t so trapped.

Sandra

Bright Care client

Sandra employed Bright Care to help with the care of her husband who could no longer be left in the house alone. Her children, who did not live locally, encouraged Sandra to look at care options which would enable her to take a break and have some, much needed, some respite.
