What is domiciliary care?

Domiciliary care refers to the support offered to elderly individuals with a range of services, including household chores, making meals, running errands, personal care and administration.

Domiciliary care services, also known as in-home care or live-in care, is a package of tailored care delivered to an individual within their own home. At Bright Care, our domiciliary care services are available 24/7, 365 days of the year.

Our daytime care visits are for two hours or more, allowing meaningful relationships to form between a Care Assistant and their clients. This results in the delivery of high-quality care and consistent companionship. Our live-in care is delivered by a small consistent team of careers who can build trust and develop strong bonds with their clients.

What is a domiciliary care agency?

A domiciliary care agency often uses ad-hoc Care Assistants to create a package of at-home care. This means that when using an agency, your loved ones will probably not get the same Carer each time, making it difficult to develop meaningful relationships and build trust.

Although this method of providing domiciliary care services may be cheaper than the fully managed care services offered by Bright Care, it is doubtful that you will receive the same level of service that our team offers.

Domiciliary Care Assistants

Bright Care only employs one from every 200 applicants; this is because we only recruit the most exceptional Care Assistants. This ensures that you receive domiciliary care services and companionship from Carers who feel a sense of pride about bringing joy to those in their later years.

We employ all of our Care Assistants directly, which means we are not a domiciliary care agency, we are a domiciliary care company, offering an exceptional managed elder care service. The well-being and development of our Bright Care Carers is important to us, so we provide our staff with first-class training, competitive pay and employee benefits.
