We are a family-founded live-in care company and deliver high-quality private care to self-funding clients. That means we are not a care ‘agency’. Our flexible care packages are tailored to individual needs. 

Our daytime, live-in, or overnight care is delivered by our exceptionally well-trained Bright Carers who are employed by us. Live-in care is delivered by the same, small consistent team of trusted carers which allows meaningful relationships to develop.

All our employees’ wellbeing is of the utmost importance to us, and that is why we give them competitive rates of pay, plus benefits, first-class training and have a team of office-based support staff who support our care team every step of the way.

All our Bright Carers are hand-picked by us and go through our market leading training programme at the Bright Care Training Academy, and they are Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) or Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) compliant.

What is a live-in care agency? 

Live-in care agencies will often use a bank of agency staff to create a care package. 

Introductory agencies are cheaper than fully managed care providers like Bright Care. This is because they are not regulated by the national care regulatory bodies, they only introduce self-employed carers to their clients and have no obligation to provide training. The carers might also be registered with multiple agencies at the same time. After the introduction of the carer, it is the family who have a legal contract with them and who have full ownership of the services’ management.

As a fully managed hourly, overnight, and live-in care company, we take great care in matching all our clients with the carer that is right for them, and our services are regulated by the Care Inspectorate in Scotland, and the Care Quality Commission in England.

We believe staying in your own home in your later years is the best option and a perfect alternative to the limitations of care homes. Our style of companionship care gives the elderly control over the care they receive.
