Our elderly home care services
Hourly Daytime Care
Visiting care during the day is perfect for those who need some extra support to live at home. Our visits start from two hours or more and this care can happen between 7am and 10pm, seven days a week.
Live-In Care
When the support required exceeds around 6-8 hours per day, our live-in care is a great option. A carer is on-hand to help, day and night.
Overnight Care
Where care is required throughout the night, our overnight Carers can provide a reassuring presence from 10pm to 7am.
Call Out & Emergency Service
Included in our care package for all clients, we have team members available 24 hours a day via our dedicated call-out phone number. This service provides peace of mind as we will attend to any situation, day or night.
Dementia & Alzheimer’s Care
Our highly trained Bright Carers are experts in caring for people living with Dementia and Alzheimers. Remaining at home, in familiar surroundings with regular routines can reduce stress and anxiety.
About us
With Bright Care, you can be confident that you have made the right decision for your loved one.

Experts in elder care
We focus exclusively and only on caring for people in later life. We are experts in this stage of life so can offer trusted help and advice from our many years experience.

Exclusively for private clients
We only work with clients who pay for our services directly. By choosing not to involve ourselves with pop-in style council contracts, we are not under any pressure to hire just anyone. This makes our offering completely bespoke and allows us to maintain uncompromising standards of recruitment, training and staff support.

Visits from two hours to live in care
We provide visits of two hours or longer with the same regular carers. This keeps companionship, meaningful relationships and genuine human connection at the core of everything we do. This holistic approach allows us to make careful carer matches, attract the best carers and ensures care arrangements are stable and consistent.

Local branches, local managers & local carers
Our local branches are run by locally based care managers who hire locally based carers. We can respond quickly to issues on the ground with our clients and ensure our carers are superbly supported – offering a truly personalised service.

Dedicated Bright Care Training Academy
We have a dedicated in-person training facility. Every Bright Carer begins their employment here, receiving first class, hands-on onboarding from our training team. Throughout their career, The Bright Care Academy provides our carers with continuous professional development, ensuring our team always has the latest skills and expertise.

Regulated full management service
Our branch teams handle every aspect of carer management, logistics, ongoing administration and paperwork throughout the journey of care. We are registered with the Care Quality Commission in England and the Care Inspectorate in Scotland, who regulate and inspect care services. All of our branches are independently rated ‘Very Good’ or ‘Excellent’ by our regulators.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between in home care and a care home?
Home care is when an elderly loved one receives care within the comfort of their own home and retains independence. We offer an at-home bespoke care service to private clients.
With home care from one of our Bright Carers, you can expect exceptional levels of care and visits from two hours or more, so meaningful relationships between clients and carers can develop. Contact us today to find out more about our award-winning care.
A care home is a residential home that offers personal care, meals and accommodation specifically designed for the elderly, especially those with complex medical conditions, mental or learning disabilities. Although you have your own room within a care home, it is much more structured with organised meal times, activities and allocated visiting times.
There is not the same level of independence, privacy or dignity offered with at-home care.
How do you know when a loved one needs care?
Although there is no set age an elderly person needs care, in 2022 the average age of a person in receipt of support in the UK was 84 years old.
You should consider seeking care for your loved one if it has become unsafe for them to live alone, if there are signs of confusion or disorientation, if they need support because of a medical condition, or any other risks to their personal safety. Advice on how to spot signs of decline in a loved one.
Bright Care offer private tailor made elderly in-home care services. Our services include care and companionship, providing peace of mind for families who cannot always be there to care for their loved ones.
If you believe your elderly loved one needs help with day-to-day activities but cannot afford private care, try completing a care assessment with your local council. More information on this is available from the GOV.UK website.
How much does in home care cost?
The cost of elderly home care will vary greatly depending on your geographical area and the level of service required. At Bright Care we offer care packages that are tailored to our clients’ needs, including live-in care, hourly daytime care, overnight and sleepover care, respite care, and specialised care for those with Alzheimer’s or Dementia.
