Edinburgh In-home Care For Seniors

Our Edinburgh office was our original office and remains our largest. It’s overseen by our Registered Branch Manager, Val Brown, who nurtures a committed and cohesive team of professionals who are all dedicated to providing the highest levels of customer service and care.

Our office is situated in Liberton, in an old farm steadings. With our extensive parking, and a bus stop at the end of the lane, it’s easy to access and always ready to accept visitors. There’s always fresh tea and real coffee on the go — feel free to pop in for a visit anytime.

Areas We Serve in Edinburgh

Our services are available throughout Edinburgh and the surrounding areas, for example: Ratho, Dalmeny, South Queensferry, Musselburgh, Dalkeith, Bonnyrigg and Penicuik.

If you’re not sure whether we can help in your area, feel free to get in touch.

Hours of Operation

Our Edinburgh office is open Monday to Friday from 9am – 5pm.  From 5pm – 9pm we have a reduced staff team working from home available to you on the same contact number.  Out with these times we have an on call system, so there is always someone available to speak to 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Our Edinburgh In-home Care For Seniors

Visiting Care

Visiting care during the day is perfect for those who just need that extra little bit of support to live at home. Our visits are for two hours or more at a time, and for ten hours or more per week. We find that this allows long-lasting and meaningful relationships to form. This care can happen between 7am and 10pm, seven days a week.

Live-In Care

This is when one of our carers lives in the house with your loved one full-time. They are on-hand to assist with all activities of daily living during both the day and overnight. When the support required reaches a certain level, it may make both financial and practical sense to look into live-in care, especially as an alternative to a care home.

Overnight Care

This is the reassuring presence of one of our carers throughout the night. Our overnight care runs from 10pm to 7am.

Call Out & Emergency Service

An assurance that we are always available is one reason why our clients and their families feel confident and comfortable working alongside us. For our clients, we have team members available 24 hours a day via our dedicated call-out phone number.

Welcome Home Service

It’s important to have a warm welcoming home to return to after a hospital stay. For clients returning from a stay in hospital, we ensure all of the important jobs are taken care of: from a lift home, to unpacking bags, taking care of laundry, light housekeeping, shopping and meal preparation.

Additional Care

If you’re a family member or a carer and for some reason your loved one requires more care during a particular time (for example, you’re a part-time carer or you’re going on holiday), you can look at our ad hoc live-in care to top up the regular care you have with us.

What Makes Us Unique

We find joy in alleviating the stress and frustrations associated with sourcing quality care provision for family members, and empowering elderly people – who just need supporting – to live at home.

We are for self-funding families.

By strategically choosing not to engage with council services, it means we can offer a fully bespoke and premium service.

We provide a fully-managed service.

This means we take the stress out of managing care provision yourself, so you can spend more quality time as a family.

We are regulated.

This means we are regularly reviewed by the Care Inspectorate, the single regulatory body for social care services set up by the Scottish Government.

We go the whole way.

We don’t believe in remaining at home ‘for as long as possible’. Instead, with the right foundations and resources, we believe it possible for elderly people to live out their days with dignity and grace in the comfort of their own homes.

We focus on relationships.

With visits from two hours or more, we place huge importance on building quality and meaningful relationships. We know that having a consistent face is imperative to providing premium care.

We excel at supporting elderly people.

By only focusing on this group, we have become experts in elderly care.
