Our Elderly Home Care Services
Visiting Care
Visiting care during the day is perfect for those who just need that extra little bit of support to live at home. Our visits are for two hours or more which we find allows long-lasting and meaningful relationships to form. This care can happen between 7am and 10pm, seven days a week.
Live-In Care
This is when one of our carers lives in the house with your loved one full-time. They are on-hand to assist with all activities of daily living during both the day and overnight. When the support required reaches a certain level, it may make both financial and practical sense to look into live-in care, especially as an alternative to a care home.
Overnight Care
This is the reassuring presence of one of our carers throughout the night. Our overnight care runs from 10pm to 7am.
Call Out & Emergency Service
An assurance that we are always available is one reason why families feel confident and comfortable working alongside us. Included in our care offer for all our existing clients, we have team members available 24 hours a day via our dedicated call-out phone number.
Welcome Home Service
It’s important to have a warm welcoming home to return to after a hospital stay. For clients returning from a stay in hospital, we ensure all of the important jobs are taken care of, from a lift home, to unpacking bags, taking care of laundry, light housekeeping, shopping and meal preparation.
Dementia & Alzheimer’s Care
Dementia care is a huge part of our service and we pride ourselves in being experts in this field. Our in-home care enables elderly loved ones with dementia to continue flourishing in their familiar surroundings, by receiving the undivided support of our exceptionally trained care team.
What Our Clients Say
I Have Found Bright Care A Very Good And Caring Team
I have found Bright Care a very good organisation to work with. They have a terrific team of Carers – mostly very well-trained, all extremely caring. They are very responsive – and I can imagine how challenging their job must be at times as there are really no margins for error. Their clients need caring for and some, I know, can be extremely demanding! The office in Melrose led by Sonia with Gillian and Karen is efficient and responsive and their hand-overs and careful procedures are clearly excellent. Top marks!
The Melrose Office Is Wonderful
The thought of putting our mother into the care of others was very difficult, however necessary it was. I can’t thank enough Bright Care and all the wonderful women from the Melrose office who have been with us every step of the way. It makes all the difference to us knowing that our mother is in excellent hands. Thank you to every one of you, you are all amazing.
What Makes Us Unique
We’ve helped hundreds of UK families to find the best care solution for their specific needs. Here’s why families choose us:
We are for self-funding families.
By choosing not to engage with council services, it means we can offer a fully bespoke and premium service.
We provide a fully-managed service.
We are uncompromisingly dedicated to supporting the changing needs of those you love. Our team’s total focus on your family takes the stress out of managing care every step of the way
We are regulated.
Our care is consistently graded at the highest levels by care regulators, so you can rest assured that your family will be well looked after by our team.
We journey alongside you.
We don’t believe in remaining at home ‘for as long as possible’. With the right foundations and resources, we make it possible for those you love to continue bringing their greatest contribution to life in the comfort of their own home.
We focus on relationships.
We carefully match your loved ones with our Bright Carers, and with visits from two hours or more, we place huge importance in nurturing genuine and meaningful relationships.
We are experts in senior care.
We believe caring for the elderly goes way beyond routine tasks and by only focusing on the over 65s, we have become experts in this age group. Our care and companionship allow those you love to continue flourishing in later years.
